Master clocks

Keep everyone in your organization on the same accurate time

The master clocks from the RADIO TIMING® range transmit a reliable and accurate time to different clocks (digital clocks and analog clocks).

Efficiently manage your most time-sensitive devices, and easily activate various functions: heating, air conditioning, lighting, alarms, access control, ringers and alerts...

RADIO TIMING® master clocks can also synchronise a computer network and automatically update the summer/wintertime change.

SYNCHRONISATION INPUTS

Our master clocks allow you to synchronise the clocks in an entire establishment. The use of standardised time codes and protocols provides a high degree of transparency.

SYCHRONISATION OUTPUTS

Our master clocks transmit a reliable time which is identical to a network of clocks. Several time codes are available as well as relay and TOP outputs.

Choose the outputs best suited to your needs:

WHICH VERSION SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?

The following comparison lists the main advantages and disadvantages of the pulse version and the AFNOR NFS 87500* coded version*.

The pulse version master clock

Advantages Disadvantages
  • The replacement of the master clock on an existing network of clocks in pulse mode.
  • Lengthy commissioning.
  • Manual interventions to set the individual time of each clock in case of line failure.
  • Connection of the clocks to each other by a 9/10th pair.
  • Number of clocks and distance limited per line (800m)
  • No supervision possible.

AFNOR NFS 87500 coded version master clock

Advantages Disadvantages
  • Receiver clocks connected to the line receive a complete time message every second, facilitating commissioning and maintenance of the system
  • Approximately 250 clocks over several tens of kilometres on a single telephone line.
  • Unidirectional code that does not allow remote supervision of the receiving clocks
  • Cost of running the telephone line between the clocks.

*AFNOR NFS 87500 is a code developed by GORGY TIME generated by low impedance outputs from its time bases, thus enabling the completely secure synchronisation of more than 250 clocks at the high impedance input several dozens of kilometres away, over a simple telephone line, with good resistance to industrial interference.
Manufacturers who do not offer this time code with an isolation transformer cannot claim a high-performance and secure time installation.
